Start by removing your current wallpaper.

Soak a sponge in warm water and wipe it against the wallpaper. Leave this to soak for 15 to 20 minutes and then soak again.

Begin peeling the paper making sure you get rid of any flaky plaster, old paper, and backing paper using a steamer and scraper for any stubborn areas.

Wash the wall with sugar soap to get rid of any grease, dust, and left over paint. Then wash the wall down once more, this time with clean, cold water..

Size the wall by applying a layer of paste using the paste brush and paint roller. Leave this to dry.

Using a spirit level and pencil, mark a vertical line from your starting point based on the instructions provided with your wallpaper.

Cut the wallpaper to a manageable size using wallpaper scissors making sure to leave yourself overhang at the top and bottom.

Read the wallpaper instructions as this will tell you whether you need to paste the wall or paste the paper. Apply the paste where needed and begin hanging your wallpaper lining it against your guide mark.

Using a wallpaper brush, smooth the surface removing any bubbles as you go.

When you reach the floor, skirting board, and/or ceiling, use a straight guide and a wallpaper knife (or your preferred technique) to finish neatly.

Repeat this process using a seam roller to smooth the join between each piece of wallpaper.

If you want to carry on wallpapering around a corner, work a single piece of wallpaper into the corner using the wallpaper brush so that it covers both walls. Then begin wallpapering the second wall as above.

And that's your wallpaper complete!
