Limescale build-up on your taps not only looks unsightly but can also affect the taste of your water. Thankfully, removing limescale is an easy task anyone can do.

Method

Before you start, make sure to put on your protective gloves in order to prevent any chance of irritation to your hands.

First, mix the solution with one part solution and ten-part water. Follow the instructions on the solutions packaging for exact measurements. If your limescale build-up requires more attention, dilute the solution less for the best possible results.

Apply the diluted solution to a sponge and spread it over the built-up areas on your tap.

Leave for a few minutes, however, do not let it completely dry. Then simply wipe it off and rinse with water.

Repeat the treatment, if necessary, until there is no more visible limescale build-up.
