Top jobs for spring

Garden maintenance is the top job to be doing at this time of year, as customers start to get their outdoor spaces ready to enjoy in the warmer summer months. As the weather warms up, the ground will begin to soften up, making it ideal for planting.  In March 2022, the amount of garden maintenance and garden landscaping projects undertaken by home improvers significantly increased, up 35% since Feb 2022.  It’s a good idea to show your clients the Wickes range of plants, seeds and trees, so that they can think about what they might like. Another big job that customers will be interested in in the garden is getting the lawn into shape. This could be as simple as adding some lawn feed or seed, but if more intensive care is required, we have a range of scarifiers. If your customers are looking to do a big extension job, spring is usually the time when they start, again because the ground is now soft enough to dig up.
