The Scheppach Corded Band Saw is perfect for precise cuts in materials up to 120mm thick. With a 550W motor and two speeds, it's suitable for hardwood, softwood, plastic, and aluminium. Its features, including a rip fence, cross-cutting gauge, and a swivelling work table, allow for versatile cutting options, from freeform to straight and bevelled cuts. The HBS261 excels at producing straight cuts and elegant curves, as the workpiece is moved on the table while cutting. This bandsaw offers significantly finer cuts compared to a circular saw, although it's not as intricate as a scroll saw for delicate work and internal cutouts. The workpiece is guided towards the blade on the sturdy work table, featuring two workpiece stops for optimal positioning and finger protection. The rip fence with quick locking ensures precise longitudinal cuts, while the cross-cutting gauge allows you to create specific angles for bevel cuts. The work surface has a base size of 300 x 380mm, extendable to 535mm when needed. Furthermore, the table's angle can be smoothly adjusted up to 45° with the help of an angle scale, allowing for bevel angles of up to 45°. Tool-less locking is facilitated by a quick clamping system.
