FAQ
What is the difference between a wall panel kit and full panels?
A panelling kit comes with precut slim strips of MDF that are easily installed over smooth walls. Wall panel kits are ideal if you have smooth, ready to paint walls as sections of your wall will still be on show in between the installed wooden slats. You paint the whole area from the top moulding to the skirting board to get a cohesive look/finish. To see how you do this, watch our video guide.
How do you attach wall panels to the wall?
Wall panel kits include very lightweight strips of decorative MDF that can simply be glued to the wall using a suitable wood adhesive. However, in high traffic areas of the home, you might want to consider securing your decorative wall mouldings with a nail gun.
Full wall panels are different, you will need to ensure they are properly secured with screws.
