Once your HIPPOSKIP is filled and ready to be collected, simply purchase your collection here at Wickes to have a carbon neutral service collect your HIPPOBAG and divert over 95% of the waste from landfill through recycling and energy from landfill. HIPPOSKIP must be purchased separately (SKU 220340). We aim to collect the bag within 5 working days after you purchase the collection (excludes public holidays).

- Nationwide collection service of the HIPPOSKIP using specialised HIPPO vehicles
- Collection day can’t be set, drivers may visit on any day of the week (excludes Sundays), so once the collection is booked the bag must be available for collection at all times as we could arrive as soon as the next working day
- HIPPO reserves the right to refuse to collect the bag if it is beyond the reach of the crane from the public highway, if the bag is overloaded or overweight, or contains unacceptable waste types. If collection is unsuccessful you may not be entitled to a refund or a handling fee may be applied to reattempt the collection
- Over 95% of waste on average is diverted from landfill, either through recycling or used to generate energy
- HIPPOBAGs must be purchased separately, available here at Wickes
- HIPPOBAGs must be within 4m of the road and accessible for the collection, if our vehicle has to leave the highway to collect the bag we will need you to sign a disclaimer - we cannot drive on block paving under any circumstances
- Remember we have to lift the bag; so don’t place it near high walls, trees, cars or beneath overhead wires that might obstruct the crane
- Collections will take place within 5 working days from order - add mobile number if you require prior notification of collection
- If you need to place your HIPPOBAG on a public highway, pavement, or verge you may need to obtain permission from your local authority
